Wij gebruiken de allernieuwste apparatuur van MedCos voor permanente ontharing. Met ons toestel geven we door een diafragma gefilterde korte en krachtige lichtflitsen af op de huid. Door geleiding via het pigment van de haartjes wordt een temperatuur van 70° gecreëerd in de haarwortel. Hierdoor wordt het haarzakje definitief vernietigd en kan het nooit meer een haar produceren.
Gemiddeld zijn er 8 behandelingen nodig voor een optimaal resultaat. Afhankelijk van de te behandelen zone bedraagt de tijd tussen twee behandelingen 6 tot 12 weken. Enkel de haren die zich op het moment van de behandeling in de groeifase bevinden kunnen worden behandeld. Het merendeel van de haren op ons lichaam bevinden zich echter in de rustfase, vandaar dat er verschillende behandelingen nodig zijn. Op die manier hebben ook de haren in de rustfase de kans om in de groeifase te komen.
Wanneer de lichtflits op de huid wordt afgegeven kan men een lichte prikkeling voelen, vergelijkbaar met een elastiekje dat tegen de huid slaat. Dit wordt door de meeste mensen heel goed verdragen. Ons toestel bevat de laatste nieuwe technologie waarbij de behandelkoppen continue gekoeld zijn. Hierdoor wordt het lichte ongemak dat bepaalde personen toch ervaren sterk verlicht.
Wij kunnen ongewenste haargroei overal op het lichaam vrijwel pijnloos behandelen. Dankzij de SHR of Super Hair Removal functie van ons toestel kunnen we nu ook donkere huidtypes veilig en efficiënt gaan behandelen. Donsharen, lichtblonde of grijze haren bevatten nauwelijks pigment en zijn bijgevolg vaak niet te behandelen.
We verzoeken u vriendelijk om minstens 24u op voorhand de afspraak te annuleren indien nodig. Gelieve dit bij voorkeur via telefonisch contact te doen. We houden graag een correct schema aan zodat we al onze bezoekers van een vlotte bediening kunnen voorzien.
Dankzij de nieuwste en uiterst snelle technologie in lichttherapie van ons toestel bedraagt de gemiddelde behandeltijd voor het permanent ontharen van oksels of bikinilijn slechts vijf minuten. Een behandeling van de volledige benen duurt gemiddeld 20 minuten. Uiteraard is de duur van de behandeling ook steeds afhankelijk van de grootte van het te behandelen lichaamsoppervlak.
Minstens 4 weken voor de behandeling mag er niet meer worden geëpileerd. Scheren kan wel en is eveneens noodzakelijk op de dag van de behandeling of ten vroegste twee dagen voordien. Ideaal is wanneer de haren niet langer dan 2 millimeter lang zijn. Ook tussen de opeenvolgende behandelingen door is scheren toegestaan.
